Since 1992 Blazer Inspection, Inc. has provided quality NDE services to customers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and New Mexico. We are the only NDE company headquartered in Texas City, Texas and we have employees with over 400 years of combined inspection experience.

JOHN SPRUIELL
President/CEO
John Spruiell is the President and CEO of Blazer Inspection, Inc. John has over 26 years’ experience in the NDT business. He started his career as a field technician working extensively in the oil and gas pipeline sector. John has earned a reputation with customers and co-workers as someone who will get the job done right the first time and within budget. He worked hard and studied the NDT trade diligently which enabled him to help grow a prior start-up NDT company to $45 million in revenues. John has demonstrated expert knowledge in all NDT methods and employs a professional full service staff of NDT mangers, field technicians and consultants.
As a veteran of the United States Navy, John strives for the highest level of safety and quality for every project. As Blazer continues to grow John looks forward to expanding the overall customer base and becoming a true business partner with each and every client.
PETE HOUSTON
CFO
Pete Houston is the Chief Financial Officer of Blazer Inspection, Inc. For more than 20 years, he has provided accounting services and financial management to numerous closely-held and publicly listed businesses. Prior to joining Blazer, Pete served as CFO for an Ft. Worth oilfield service company, CFO of a Houston-based community bank and served as an audit manager in a regional public accounting firm.
Pete is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. He earned a BBA in Business Administration - Accounting at the University of Washington, Tacoma. Prior to his accounting career he served on the President’s detail at the White House in Washington, D.C. providing security and telecommunications support to the President, Vice President, and United States Secret Service. Pete also proudly served 10 years with the
United States Army.
